Litter Watch are an award winning community led charity commissioned by Sandwell Council and Serco.
They were established in early 1997 to help Tipton residents tackle their environmental concerns and provide information and support to report litter problems.
Litter Watch has grown and developed significantly to become a key environmental partner in Sandwell.
Litter Watch play an instrumental role in coordinating the Big Spring Clean campaign and the volunteers alongside Sandwell Council and Serco.
The multi-award winning campaign takes place across the borough’s six towns and is inspired and led by the borough’s residents.
The campaign runs from March to September each year
The Eco bus is a refurbished double decker bus and the centre piece of our education offering.
It provides fun, interactive and informative environmental workshops and supports local people to learn about their environmental responsibilities including reducing, reusing and recycling waste.
Litter Watch has allotment plots in Smethwick, West Bromwich.
These plots are maintained and supported by local volunteers.
